Even the youngest Austin-Healey is almost 50 years old and is, as we used to say in the sixties of people of that vintage, "not to be trusted". Donald, himself, was astonished that so many Healeyphiles actually drove their vintage cars over fairly large distances. On this accord there is both good news and bad news.

The bad news is that old mechanical things like Austin-Healeys do wear out and, eventually, parts of them break. The good news is that, unlike cars of the current generation, they can be fixed by most owners who possess a modicum of mechanical ability and a service manual. Even better is the news that Healey people share their technical knowledge and expertise readily.

Here, then, is a collection of articles by members and friends of the Austin-Healey Owners Association of B.C., offered in this spirit of sharing, that all may enjoy the pleasure and satisfaction of maintaining and driving their treasured Healeys. This collection will grow regularly, so please visit us often and, if you wish to add an article that will help out your fellow Healey owner please contact the editor at  editor@healeys.ca  and it will be arranged.
